Title: Production Line Setter/Mechanic Reports to: Mechanic Manager Department: Operations- Mechanic Responsibility Summary: We are looking for hands-on, mechanically inclined individuals to join our production team as Line Setters / Mechanics. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, quick learners, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: The Production Line Setter/Mechanic is responsible for supporting the department through a variety of tasks, including: Set up and adjust filling, labeling, and packing equipment according to product specifications. Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs during production runs. Assist with line changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and accurate configuration. Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is running smoothly and safely. Collaborate with operators and supervisors to resolve equipment-related issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and workstations. Document setup parameters and maintenance activities as required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus. 1-2 years of experience in a production or mechanical role preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and safety procedures. Ability to read and follow setup instructions, diagrams, or SOPs. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work flexible shifts and respond to urgent issues. Ability to lift and carry up to 10-15 pounds. Working Conditions: Fast-paced production environment with frequent equipment interaction. May require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. PPE and hygiene compliance required at all times. Additional Information: This is a full-time contract position.
