Department Overview As a leader in delivering cutting-edge solutions, Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Owner for our Oracle CPQ Cloud platform. This pivotal role is essential as we enhance our digital capabilities to revolutionize our Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) offerings. Job Description As a crucial member of the IT Global Sales team, you will guide the vision for the Oracle CPQ Cloud platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives to enhance customer experiences. Your role will involve defining product features, prioritizing initiatives, and translating business needs into scalable solutions that improve sales and quoting processes. Product Ownership & Strategy: Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with sales, finance, and operational goals. Manage the product backlog to reflect key initiatives and business priorities. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, effectively sharing the product vision, release schedules, and progress updates with senior leadership. Promote user adoption through detailed communication, documentation, and training efforts. Process Optimization: Evaluate and enhance existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement and leveraging product features to drive operational efficiency. Delivery & Continuous Improvement: Oversee the entire lifecycle of product feature implementation and enhancements. Manage user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment readiness, and post-launch support, while identifying opportunities for streamlining sales processes. End-User Advocacy: Advocate for end-users by providing comprehensive training and support to ensure effective use of product features and adherence to best practices. Data Driven / Prioritization: Utilize a data-driven approach to manage the product, delivering insights on performance and value capture for effective prioritization. Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product enhancements that align with customer satisfaction and business objectives. Thought Leadership / Emerging Trends: Stay abreast of customer trends and emerging technologies that can improve service delivery, researching and evaluating trends to provide valuable insights. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership. Proven track record in leading large-scale IT implementations or upgrades. Deep understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes, including integrating CRM (Salesforce, Oracle CX) and ERP (Oracle Fusion, SAP) systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in Agile or hybrid development frameworks. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and business teams to achieve measurable results. Preferred Qualifications Consulting experience focused on large-scale implementations. Familiarity with relevant technologies: Salesforce, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or Oracle Fusion ERP. Experience in manufacturing, high-tech, or subscription-based industries. Understanding of pricing strategies, revenue recognition, and workflow design for approvals. Key Competencies Strategic thinking and business acumen. Strong prioritization and decision-making skills. Target Base Salary Range: $145,000 USD - $165,000 USD Compensation varies based on individual qualifications and experience. Note: Candidates should be able to visit the Chicago/Schaumburg office 1-3 days a week. Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership. Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions; employer sponsorship is not available. No travel is required for this role. No relocation assistance is provided.
