LPN- School Nursing 1:1

Assignment Details: Dates: 11/03/2025 - 06/30/2026 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM, excluding holidays, inclement weather, school breaks, and professional development days Rate: $39.75/hour Location: Springfield, MA 01118 Transportation: The nurse will ride the bus from the student's home to school and back. Pick-up and drop-off are at Boland Elementary. Only hours spent providing direct care to the student are paid. Requirements: Current LPN license Clear CORI and fingerprint clearance to enter Springfield Public Schools Ability to provide direct 1:1 nursing care for a medically complex student Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Massachusetts 1-2 years of experience in child health, community health, or other relevant clinical nursing settings Current CPR/AED certification by American Heart Association or Red Cross Ability to provide care and ensure safety for medically complex student(s), including lifting and diapering/toileting Ability to provide emergency care and assessment Knowledge of professional and legal nursing requirements Strong human relations skills Organizational and administrative skills Knowledge of child growth and development
