This role involves providing specialized nursing care to oncology patients with a variety of cancer types undergoing medical and surgical treatments. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Administer medications, including chemotherapy and other cancer-related treatments, as prescribed by the oncologist. Educate patients and their families about cancer diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and coping strategies. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families throughout the treatment process. Ensure compliance with all documentation standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in unit-based training, seminars, and continuing education courses to enhance skills and knowledge. Candidate requirements BSN and associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program are required. BLS, ACLS, and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred. 1-2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, with specific experience in oncology nursing preferred.
