Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and deliver exceptional patient-centered care to moderately acute patients requiring continuous cardiac and clinical monitoring. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team during the night shift to ensure the safety and effectiveness of care provided. Key Highlights: Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Work Schedule: 36 hours per week Compensation: $60.00/hour blended travel rate Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients in the PCU, focusing on cardiac and telemetry monitoring. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document findings. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed by providers. Identify and respond swiftly to any changes in patient condition. Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards. Requirements: Active RN license or compact license. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit. BLS and ACLS certification required. Must be able to work the night shift.
