Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide expert nursing care in an Emergency Room setting while advancing your clinical skills and managing diverse patient needs. This contract role offers a chance to work nights from 8 PM to 8 AM, delivering both routine and complex interventions in a dynamic clinical environment. The position demands critical thinking, leadership in clinical assignments, and compassionate support to patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care consistent with ANA Standards utilizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administer medications and treatments following established protocols while monitoring effectiveness and side effects. Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and interventions. Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support health literacy and care management. Exhibit leadership in self-management and delegation to optimize clinical workflow. Required Qualifications: Current RN license in Texas or compact state. Active BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and TNCC certifications. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum one year ER or related specialty nursing experience preferred. Completion of orientation, preceptorship, and competency validations as designated. Work Schedule & Location: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (night shifts 8 PM to 8 AM).
