Certified Surgical First Assist Brookfield, United States, 53045 1 Contractor Onsite position Department: Surgery Shift Timings: 10:00-20:30 Hours- Monday to friday (4 Days/10 Hours) Per Week: 40 Hour's One rotating day off per week; Call: based on department needs but currently at 1-2 week night call shifts per week; one full weekend per 4 week schedule Experience: Neuro, Robotics, Orthopedics (esp total joints), Vascular; previous surgical tech experience preferred, EPIC; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed Responsibilities Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries. Sterilizing equipment and instruments. Stocking adequate supplies for surgery. Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites. Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies. Tracking surgical supplies. Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures. Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team. Helping provide great patient care.
