2nd shift Maintenance Technician

Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Temp to hire opportunity with a company in Greer, SC! This position offers a starting pay of $20-23 per hour. This position will be in support of the 2nd shift, with a Monday to Thursday schedule and overtime support as needed. Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems on production machines, equipment, and buildings. Complete preventative maintenance tasks on machinery. Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment. Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals and work orders. Perform corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCS. Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking systems. Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications: HSD/GED required Mechanical apprenticeship and/or Mechanical Certificate. 2+ years of mechanical technical hands-on experience. Ability to read and use schematics, gauges, tools and instruments. Ability to use hand, power, and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete jobs. Knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance with repair and troubleshooting machine issues and breakdowns with general maintenance. Preferred experience in welding with MIG and/or arc welder. Knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, valves, cylinders, conveyors, etc. Forklift and scissor lift driving experience is preferred.
