Handyman

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hands-on Handyman/Handyman Assistant to support our Lead Handyman with residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, wants to learn skilled trades, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Location: Residential & Commercial Projects Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay-rate: $20/hr Key Responsibilities: Assist with general repairs and maintenance, including: Drywall repair and patching Interior and exterior painting and touch-ups Basic plumbing and electrical tasks (under supervision) Minor carpentry, fixture installation, and hardware replacement Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials Prepare job sites and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Support project setup and cleanup Follow instructions from the Lead Handyman and complete assignments efficiently Communicate professionally with clients when on-site Help identify tools and materials needed for upcoming projects Assist with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving Qualifications: Previous construction, maintenance, or handyman experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate) Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors and outdoors Must have reliable transportation Must be willing to travel to various job sites Valid driver's license preferred Good communication skills and positive attitude #VAHandyman3
