Job Description

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position is available in San Marcos, California to provide 1:1 behavioral support in a structured group home environment. This contract role offers approximately 15 hours per week of part-time work, focusing on supporting an individual with high behavioral needs through consistent and skilled intervention. Responsibilities: Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity Deliver direct ABA-based support during daily routines and community activities Collect accurate data on target behaviors and skill acquisition goals Utilize approved crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques Assist with development of life skills including hygiene, communication, and social interactions Collaborate closely with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and residential staff Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for the resident Qualifications: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience working with individuals exhibiting high behavioral needs Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and behavior reduction methods Proficiency in crisis prevention and intervention strategies Reliable, professional, and patient demeanor Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to documentation protocols Schedule Details: Approximately 15 hours per week Flexible scheduling options including afternoons, evenings, or weekends based on client needs Consistent 1:1 assignment with the same individual This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful connections and witness firsthand progress in a collaborative, residential setting.
