Radiology Tech | Cranston, Rhode Island

A unique opportunity for a skilled Radiologic Technologist to support an imaging department with a variety of X-ray equipment, including Philips, Carestream, GE, portables, and C-Arms. This contract role is based in Cranston, RI, offering a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment that values precision and patient care. Schedule/Hours: 5 days a week, Tuesday through Saturday Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Wednesday and Saturday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Responsibilities: Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays using a range of imaging equipment Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures Ensure patient safety and maintain radiation protection protocols Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare team members Maintain accurate records and documentation for all imaging procedures Qualifications/Desired Experience: ARRT(R) certification required Current Rhode Island radiologic technologist license, or pending license acceptable BLS certification Previous experience with Philips, Carestream, GE imaging systems preferred Strong communication skills and attention to detail Location: Cranston, Rhode Island Cranston offers a combination of suburban charm and urban convenience, with easy access to Providence and other parts of the state.
