Occupational Therapist School Setting in Olympia, WA

A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for a K-12 school located in Olympia, WA. This contract position is set to begin mid to late January and will continue through the current school year (CSY). The ideal candidate will have experience working with students across all K-12 grade levels, providing occupational therapy services tailored to school settings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services within a K-12 educational environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' educational goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school professionals to enhance student participation and success Utilize teletherapy and home health approaches as necessary to support diverse student needs Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and healthcare regulations Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based OT Skilled in teletherapy and healthcare OT practices, including home health services Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic interventions appropriate for K-12 students Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed records in a timely manner Location: Olympia, Washington Benefits: This contract role offers the opportunity to work full time within an educational setting, impacting student growth and development throughout the academic year.
