Summary: The Plant Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all manufacturing operations at the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across production, maintenance, quality, safety, and continuous improvement, while driving operational excellence and meeting cost, delivery, and performance targets. The Plant Manager plays a critical role in developing talent, fostering a culture of accountability, and aligning plant operations with company objectives. Responsibilities: Provide overall leadership and direction for plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics. Ensure achievement of production goals related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. Develop and execute operational plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; promote a strong safety-first culture. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team; support workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, HR, and corporate leadership to support plant and company initiatives. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed. Oversee capital projects, equipment reliability, and facility improvements. Foster positive employee relations and maintain effective communication across all levels of the organization Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including significant experience managing plant or site-level operations. Proven track record of driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cost control in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams at all levels of the organization. Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting and P&L responsibility. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing performance metrics.
