Construction Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Compensation: $140,000 - $240,000 base plus per diem LOA and attractive benefits package Rotation: 8 days on / 6 days off (remote camp accommodation provided) Project Location: Grand Canyon, NV Start Date: Immediately Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a significant water/wastewater construction project. This role involves leading the project from execution through to commissioning and closeout. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in water/wastewater project management, exemplary administrative skills, and a willingness to travel to a remote site regularly. Key Qualifications Extensive project management experience in delivering water and/or wastewater construction projects from pre-construction to closeout. Proven ability to handle complex mechanical and process scopes, including equipment installation and startup coordination. Willingness to travel frequently to a remote job site. Strong financial management skills, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, change management, and pay application support. Exceptional documentation skills, attention to detail, and disciplined approach to safety and compliance protocols. Preferred Experience Experience with federal projects and navigation of strict documentation and billing requirements. Background in both general contracting and subcontracting for municipal or industrial water/wastewater projects. Professional Engineer (PE) license or a degree in Engineering/Construction Management. Experience managing teams in remote travel settings, including logistics for per diem and housing. Familiarity with projects valued between $5M-$30M, including large, phased scopes. Experience working in challenging terrains or restricted-access job sites. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate project execution for a prominent water/wastewater construction project, from construction to closeout. Develop and maintain a comprehensive execution plan addressing scope, schedule, procurement, staffing, and logistics. Manage commissioning activities to ensure safe system startups that meet design and acceptance criteria. Oversee budget management, including forecasting, contingency strategies, and identifying risks timely. Handle change management, including identification, pricing, documentation, negotiation, and incorporation. Ensure meticulous project documentation and compliance to avoid payment delays and maintain readiness for inspections. Collaborate with field leadership to promote safe work practices and consistent adherence to safety audits and reporting. Facilitate strong communication with the prime contractor, client stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors. Manage procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment in compliance with site constraints. Anticipate and resolve logistical challenges through strategic planning of transport, staging, and reassembly. Provide regular updates to internal leadership on schedule status, cost trends, risks, and decision points. Encourage a team-focused culture that values long-term relationships and quality project delivery.
