HR ManagerLocation: Fort Worth, TX (Full-Time, In-Office) Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 Our recruiting firm is partnering with a growing home care organization in Fort Worth to hire an experienced HR Manager who thrives in a people-centered, fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of a large caregiving workforce. About the Company Our client is a well-established home care provider dedicated to delivering exceptional support to clients and families in the Fort Worth community. Their caregivers are the heart of the organization, and leadership is deeply committed to fostering a culture built on accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement. The HR Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations and play a critical role in supporting company growth goals by ensuring the right caregivers are recruited, developed, and retained. Job Purpose The HR Manager is responsible for leading the Human Resources function with a primary focus on managing the full lifecycle of caregiver employment - from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and retention. This role oversees one direct report and supports a caregiving team that may scale up to 180 employees. The HR Manager serves as the primary point of contact for caregivers and must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, leadership presence, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead and manage the HR department and caregiving staff Develop and execute recruitment and retention strategies aligned with company goals Collaborate with leadership to achieve KPIs and workforce targets Prepare and present regular performance and workforce reports Recruitment & Onboarding Oversee sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring of caregivers Conduct engaging new hire orientations and facilitate onboarding through the first 90 days Maintain compliant and accurate employee documentation Strengthen referral programs and community recruiting partnerships Retention & Engagement Design and oversee caregiver training and development programs Conduct quarterly performance conversations and reviews Analyze turnover trends and exit interviews to improve retention Plan engagement initiatives and recognition programs that reinforce company culture Employee Relations & Compliance Enforce company policies and progressive discipline processes Support supervisors with coaching and conflict resolution Ensure compliance with City, State, and Federal employment regulations Manage workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and benefits coordination Conduct regular HR file audits and maintain confidentiality Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or related field preferred (not required) Prior experience in healthcare, home care, or caregiving environments preferred Experience managing teams and overseeing staffing Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead orientations and training sessions Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Candidates with leadership experience in fast-paced industries (such as healthcare, service, hospitality, or office operations) are encouraged to apply.
