Travel NICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Level III NICU / Special Care Nursery | Canton, GA (30115) Travel NICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Canton, GA: 13-week travel nursing contract in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Job Details Position: Travel NICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Special Care Nursery / Level III NICU Location: Canton, GA 30115 (North Georgia / Atlanta area) Assignment Type: Travel Contract - Georgia travel nursing job Start Date: March 30, 2026 End Date: June 27, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; schedule varies) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,500 - $1,580 (competitive travel nurse pay) Work Setting: On-site, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit / Special Care Nursery Openings: 1 Eligibility: No local candidates within 50 miles Job Requirements / Qualifications Minimum 2 years recent NICU or Special Care Nursery experience (Level II/III preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license that meets Georgia state requirements (compact licenses accepted if applicable) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required Experience and proficiency with neonatal equipment: ReCam ophthalmic imaging, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, isolettes Strong neonatal assessment, documentation, and family-centered care skills Responsibilities Provide evidence-based, compassionate care to neonates with medical and surgical needs in a Level III NICU Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments and develop individualized care plans Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition using advanced neonatal equipment and technology Support admissions, discharges, and transfers; coordinate care with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team Utilize ophthalmic imaging systems and other neonatal tools to support screening and family-centered communication Document patient progress accurately and participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives Why Join This Canton, GA Travel Nursing Role?
