Travel SLP Job Details Position: Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital (36 beds) Location: El Paso, TX 79938 - travel SLP job in West Texas Start Date: March 30, 2026 End Date: June 29, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Shift Duration: 8-hour days Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Employment Type: Travel (travel therapy jobs / travel SLP jobs) On-Site: Yes Scrub Color: Navy Blue Electronic Health Record: UDS Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,030 - $2,190 Travel SLP Requirements Active SLP certification/license required (must meet state requirements for Texas travel SLPs) Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting required - inpatient rehab SLP experience preferred Ability to document efficiently using UDS EHR Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills SLP Responsibilities (Inpatient Rehabilitation) Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient rehab setting Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery, functional progress, and discharge planning Complete accurate and timely documentation in UDS EHR Participate in team meetings, patient care planning, and family/caregiver education First Day Instructions: Arrive by 8:00 AM, check in at the front desk, and ask for Jose Chaparro.
