The Lead Cloud Full Stack Developer is responsible for engaging in a comprehensive range of software engineering tasks, from designing databases to backend programming and creating user-friendly front-end interfaces. This role encompasses all phases of software development, including front-end and back-end development, database integration, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and backend server management. You will advise executives on significant strategic matters. Your daily responsibilities may include: Leading technical architecture and design while presenting your vision Utilizing advanced data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems Assessing issues from both strategic and tactical perspectives Mentoring and coaching a team of talented engineers Driving positive change through innovative technical solutions Demonstrating a strong inclination towards automation and software-driven engineering Collaborating with senior business leaders to establish technical direction Delivering mission-critical systems and components with exceptional quality and timeliness Leading by example through hands-on development in platform, backend, and frontend Reviewing code submissions and providing constructive feedback Exploring and suggesting new ideas, frameworks, or processes What we seek from you: A Senior Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Cloud-based development The ability to take ownership of major design and development responsibilities Autonomy in completing tasks while effectively collaborating on architectural and process decisions Comfort in giving and receiving feedback within the team and the broader organization Strong critical thinking skills to conceptualize tasks from evolving requirements Timely delivery of work and effective communication skills Preferred qualifications include: Proficiency with Azure Cloud Services Expertise in designing solutions architecture Experience in building scalable web platforms Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs Experience with infrastructure and security as code Ability to build and lead high-performing teams Make an impact with your skills! Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field 5+ years of progressive experience as a senior developer in large IT projects Expertise in one or more programming languages (VueJS, TypeScript, NodeJs, Java, etc.) Experience with Spring/Spring Boot framework Familiarity with JSON, RESTful web services, and client-server interactions Experience in developing highly scalable websites and web services (e.g., Vue.js, NodeJS, microservices patterns) Knowledge and experience with Azure or equivalent cloud providers Proficiency in environment management and orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, etc.) Interview Process: To streamline our hiring, we will use HireVue technology, allowing us to connect quickly and gain valuable insights about your skills and experience. Home Office Requirements: Your home office must have internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps; a wired, cable, or DSL connection is recommended. Employees residing in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota are eligible for a bi-weekly internet expense reimbursement. Humana will provide necessary telephone equipment to meet the job requirements. Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: The expected salary range is between $106,900 and $147,000 per year, dependent upon your skills, knowledge, experience, and geographic location. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
