Dialysis Practical Nurse

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Effectively utilize supplies and staff labor hours to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Assist with the preparation and updating of billing logs as needed. Perform various duties as assigned to meet the patient care or operational needs of the clinic. Obtain blood samples for laboratory analysis in accordance with physician orders. Complete and document monthly reviews of patient medication profiles accurately. Maintain knowledge of and comply with applicable health care professionals practice act requirements. Carry out responsibilities under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, adhering to company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws. Ensure thorough, accurate documentation in patient records for all treatments, activities, and communication with patients and healthcare professionals. Promptly report significant patient condition changes to the Charge Nurse. Report any equipment issues to the Biomedical Technician and Administrator. Participate in required staff meetings and attend in-service and continuing education offerings as mandated by company policies. Assist in training new staff as needed. Requirements: Current practical nursing license (LVN/LPN) in good standing. CPR certification required within 90 days of hire. Ability to distinguish all primary colors. Previous dialysis experience is preferred but not mandatory. Successful completion of the USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, within 8 weeks of hire. Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to organize time and tasks effectively. Basic computer skills are required; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications must be achieved within 90 days of hire. Meet practice requirements as dictated by the applicable state.
