Hiring Production Manager!1st shift 7a-4pm (OT as needed)Pay: 100k-130k (BOE)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Production Manager responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing operations. This position ensures effective allocation and management of resources to achieve safety, quality, and production targets.Responsibilities Promote safety awareness and monitor safety programs and trends. Conduct safety meetings, investigate safety issues, and implement countermeasures. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Manage Production Department staff, including selection, development, and training. Counsel and motivate team members while maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Review, analyze, and monitor production results and trends against plant goals. Lead departmental activities consistent with plant goals, such as safety, production, waste, and employee relations. Educate and train the team in standard practices, process capability, and defect analysis. Audit SOP compliance and establish plans for achieving production requirements. Interact and coordinate with support departments, such as maintenance and customer service. Submit monthly reports documenting results versus budget expectations. Model positive leadership behaviors and build cross-functional relationships. Audit safe conditions and behaviors, upholding safety rules and proactively addressing hazards. Drive Safety, Quality, Yield, and Productivity Continuous Improvement projects. Coach and develop team members to operate production lines successfully. Ensure timely completion of training and ongoing cross-training to standard procedures. Promote an open-door, team-oriented culture. Participate in meetings and respond to communications promptly. Engage in personal leadership development and attend scheduled trainings. Drive a continuous improvement culture. Administer policies related to performance management, staffing, and employee relations. Apply Leader Standard Work principles to maintain process discipline and support accountability. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree; chemistry or engineering preferred. 6-8 years of production management experience. Strong leadership skills with the ability to be a change agent. Effective communicator across various organizational levels. Proficient in problem-solving and troubleshooting. Strategic thinker with attention to detail. Analytic ability to gather and interpret data. Proficiency with computer systems required for role.
