An opportunity for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with dual-modality CT experience is available in Gastonia, NC, on a contract basis. This role involves working in a well-equipped, free-standing Emergency Department providing essential imaging services including X-ray, CT, and outpatient imaging. Qualifications and Desired Experience: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with an advanced registry in CT Current BLS certification Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT/Radiologic Technologist; first-time travelers may be considered based on experience Proficiency in dual-modality Radiology (DX)/CT technology Experience with IV starts and 3D rendering using TerraRecon software preferred Responsibilities and Duties: Perform diagnostic imaging using Shimadzu X-ray equipment (room and portable) and Siemens go.Top CT scanners Support emergency and outpatient imaging needs with a focus on stroke center protocols Utilize EPIC EMR system and OmniCell medication dispensing Adhere to departmental policies regarding call, weekend rotation, and holiday schedules Participate in floating assignments as needed, with orientation provided Location Insight: Gastonia, NC, is a vibrant city offering a blend of cultural richness and Southern hospitality.
