Dental Hygienist - Jacksonville, FL

Pay: From $42.00 per hourAbout the Role We're seeking a Dental Hygienist to support our client, a nationally recognized dental care brand, Jacksonville in Florida. This short-term assignment offers the opportunity to provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care in a collaborative, team-based environment. You'll play a key role in patient education, clinical hygiene services, and operatory readiness while upholding exceptional standards of safety, quality, and communication. What You BringRequired 1+ year of hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist Active, Dental Hygiene license Current CPR certification X-Ray Certificate/Training What You'll Do Prepare and turn over treatment rooms following infection-control protocols; create a welcoming patient experience Perform preventive and periodontal hygiene services, including: Prophylaxis Periodontal maintenance/therapy Scaling and debridement (supra- and sub-gingival) Stain and plaque removal Polishing Apply topical fluorides and sealants; place chemotherapeutic agents where permitted by state law Perform periodontal charting; review and update medical and dental histories Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care techniques, nutrition, and post-treatment instructions Take and process digital radiographs (as allowed by state regulations) Operate GBT equipment when required, following established protocols Maintain operatory supplies and assist with basic inventory tasks Accurately document all services while safeguarding patient privacy (HIPAA compliance) Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and practice policies; contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment Explore More Opportunities Visit our website to view all openings and create a job alert so you're informed when the right job comes along.
