SAP Business Process Expert - Supply Chain Planning Location: Franklin, TN (preferred - Nashville Hub) or Fairfield, OH Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite) Contract Length: 6 months About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Business Process Expert - Supply Chain Planning to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives within supply chain management. In this role, you will evaluate, test, and improve end-to-end business processes across SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on Production Planning (PP) and Material Management (MM). You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, consultants, and developers to identify optimization opportunities, apply SAP best practices, and ensure effective implementation of scalable and efficient supply chain solutions. What You'll Do Support supply chain management processes, including forecasting, production planning, production scheduling, procurement, and inventory management. Analyze current business processes and implement improvements using SAP standard functionality and industry best practices. Partner with functional analysts, consultants, and developers to configure or customize SAP solutions that meet business requirements. Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flows, procedures, and training materials. Deliver training and support to end users on new or enhanced SAP processes and functionality. Measure the effectiveness of implemented process improvements and help refine solutions to achieve desired outcomes. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP supply chain planning processes, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly within PP and MM modules. Strong understanding of SAP supply chain business processes and cross-module integration. Proven ability to analyze complex processes, diagnose issues, and develop practical solutions. Experience creating clear, well-structured process and procedural documentation. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholder groups. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP ECC in addition to S/4HANA. Working knowledge of SAP SRM and integration with other SAP modules. SAP certification(s) in PP, MM, or related modules. Experience supporting process improvement, testing, and user enablement during SAP implementations or transformations.
