We are searching for a Senior Product Manager - Developer Platform to join our dynamic and diverse team dedicated to revolutionizing operations through automation. Our mission is to empower software developers to build and deploy applications faster, utilizing AI agents to manage unexpected challenges. In this critical role, you will influence the evolution of our API and developer experience, enabling seamless integration for both internal teams and external partners with PagerDuty. The ideal candidate will effectively bridge the gap between product development challenges and API-first principles, collaborating closely with our AI team to align platform strategy. Your key responsibilities will include: Collaborating with product and UX design managers to comprehend PagerDuty Operations Cloud functionalities and customer journeys. Collecting and prioritizing feedback from internal development teams and external partners. Partnering with engineering and design teams to improve API design and enhance the developer experience. Aligning platform strategy with AI initiatives for seamless integration. Defining API access control and monetization needs, coordinating with relevant teams for execution. Building relationships with developer tooling companies to deliver strategic integrations. Working closely with marketing to engage the developer community and promote our platform effectively. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or developer tools. In-depth understanding of integration architecture, API design, and business process workflows. Exceptional communication skills to foster effective collaboration with engineering teams. Hands-on experience with third-party APIs and designing RESTful APIs. Demonstrated ability to deliver customer value in fast-paced product teams. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making approach. Ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders. Empathy for customer needs and a continuous learning mindset. Proficiency in leading cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes. Excellent collaboration skills, making complex topics accessible to all. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Strong understanding of incident response and DevOps workflows. Ideal candidates will be located near a PagerDuty office: Toronto, Atlanta, or San Francisco. The base salary range for this position is 180,000 - 304,000 USD. Eligibility for bonuses, commissions, equity, and benefits also applies.
