Loss Prevention Specialist

The Loss Prevention Department at Hobby Lobby is excited to invite applications for a full-time Loss Prevention Specialist position, dedicated to protecting our retail space. Why Join Us? In this role, your primary focus will be discreet, undercover surveillance aimed at identifying and apprehending thieves. You will concentrate solely on patrolling the sales floor, maximizing theft deterrence and apprehension without the burden of risk management, safety protocols, audits, or inventory tasks. Experience varied work schedules, with Sundays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas always off, while working at different stores in your area Competitive pay rates Mileage reimbursement for travel Health and dental insurance 401K program with a generous company match Competitive Starting Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour Key Responsibilities: Document detailed incident reports Analyze security camera footage Effectively and safely apprehend shoplifters Monitor BOLO (Be On Look Out) notices Maintain composure in stressful or potentially dangerous situations Foster strong relationships with store management and local law enforcement Work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team Job Requirements: Minimum of one year of prior undercover, floor-walking loss prevention experience Willingness to travel to various store locations Excellent communication skills Successful completion of a motor vehicle record check Background check requirements Ability to stand or walk for up to 100% of the work hours Only applicants meeting these requirements will be considered.
