JOB TITLE: Shift Leader (SL) SUPERVISOR: Assistant General Manager (AGM), General Manager (GM), Area Coach (AC) STATUS: Non-Exempt BASIC PURPOSE: As a Shift Leader, you will be the driving force behind exceptional restaurant operations during your shift. Your leadership and motivation will inspire team members to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied. You should proactively tackle challenges and foster a positive team environment. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Service: Ensure every customer receives 5-star service and prioritize their satisfaction. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate your team to achieve success while maintaining a professional environment. Team Development: Actively train and mentor team members aspiring to take on leadership roles, providing valuable feedback. Operations Leadership: Step in as the Manager-in-Charge (MIC) to guarantee adherence to company policies and procedures. Profit & Loss Management: Assist in reaching the restaurant's financial objectives collaboratively with upper management. Preferred: 6 months to 1 year of restaurant experience with proven leadership skills. Maintain a current Health Card as required by state or local regulations. Basic proficiency in math and reading. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Reliable transportation is necessary. Pass a Criminal Background Check and ServSafe Certification. Physical demands include the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform various motions such as walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
