Join Our Dynamic Interventional Radiology Team as a Per Diem Special Procedures Technologist! Are you a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist looking for a flexible opportunity to make a significant impact? We are seeking a talented Special Procedures Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology department on a per diem basis. This is an exciting chance to work alongside expert Radiologists, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to support life-changing, minimally invasive procedures. Collaborative Support: Work hand-in-hand with Radiologists, providing critical assistance during a wide array of complex interventional procedures, including angiograms, biopsies, drainages, and embolizations. Patient-Centered Care: Play a vital role in coordinating patient services, ensuring seamless care delivery & exceptional experiences for patients & referring providers. Safety & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of radiation safety and patient confidentiality, adhering strictly to NYSDOH and JCAHO regulations. Qualifications: Completion of two year AMA-approved school of radiographic technology required Current valid NYS License required American Registry of Radiological Technology Registry/ARRT (R) required BLS certificate required. Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient. Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive info. including but not limited to patients & staff of the health system. Demonstrates thorough understanding of NYSDOH and JCAHO regulations for established radiation guidelines. 1 year of Interventional experience preferred Pay Range: $39.60 - $50.60 Starting Pay: Based on Experience Thompson Health is an EOE encouraging individuals with disabilities and veterans to apply.
