MLT/MLS - Fulltime - Night Shift

Position can be filled with either MLT or MT/MLS. The MLT Job Description is listed belowPosition Summary: - The Medical Lab Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic quality routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience. Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures and maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements. Education Requirements: - Requires graduation from a Medical Lab Technician program and passing a national exam given by the Board of Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Experience Requirements: - One (1) year of Medical Laboratory experience is preferred. Licensure/Certification Requirements: - Registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP), or CLT (NCA) or equivalent is required. BLS certification is preferred. Must have valid Driver's License. Second Shift 7p-7a
