As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional journey for our customers, guiding them through every step of buying and selling cars. Key Responsibilities: Enhance customer satisfaction by guiding clients through the sales process, appraisals, test drives, and financing applications. Perform vehicle condition assessments and accurately communicate findings to Buyers for appraisals. Receive and check in vehicles shipped to CarMax, and manage vehicle inventory scanning and reconciliation. Execute cosmetic inspections to ensure all vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards. Handle various administrative tasks such as generating daily reports, managing transaction paperwork, and liaising with finance companies on customer contracts. Schedule service appointments and review repair order invoices, ensuring accurate documentation for billing purposes. Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in sales or customer service, particularly in retail, is preferred. A valid Driver's License is required. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred. The hourly pay rate for this position is: $19.00 - $39.60 Benefits: CarMax Associates are entitled to paid sick, vacation, and holiday time as per state law. Full-time Associates can earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year and between 80 to 200 hours of vacation time based on continuous service after a 90-day waiting period. Full-time associates receive 8 hours of pay for each of 6 scheduled holidays per year, plus an additional floating holiday. Working on a holiday may qualify for Holiday Premium Pay. Full-time salaried associates are given unlimited paid time off for sick leave, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, and more, pending manager approval.
