Customer Engagement and Sales Associate

Position Purpose: As a Customer Engagement and Sales Associate, you will deliver outstanding service by proactively interacting with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored assistance. You will acquire knowledge about our diverse range of products using our resources, enabling you to inform customers and facilitate the sale of complete projects. Key responsibilities include: Greet customers warmly and qualify their requirements. Make recommendations and effectively close sales in your department. Assist with foundational knowledge in related departments to enhance customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas, ensuring they are well-stocked, inviting, and safe. Follow all safety protocols and complete required safety training. Promptly address hazards or report unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty. Collaborate with your Department Supervisor and team members to achieve department goals. Your work will span across various store departments such as Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental. Position types may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
