We are excited to invite a Logistics Procurement Manager to join our growing Procurement team in a hybrid role based in Wilmington, DE. This position will report directly to the Logistics Procurement Manager. In this pivotal role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of logistics service providers across various modes, working closely with the respective modal category manager. You will focus on crafting dynamic procurement strategies tailored to meet business needs, evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, service, cost, and capability. Your aim will be to ensure competitive pricing and services align with current industry standards and market trends. Key Responsibilities Include: Assist in the development of logistics category strategies focused on Ocean, Air, Road, and/or Rail. Analyze freight expenditures and pinpoint cost-saving opportunities. Support the Global Category Manager in executing strategic sourcing events. Negotiate contracts with freight carriers and 3PL providers during mini-bids and spot quote occasions. Evaluate bids and proposals to identify optimal transportation solutions. Engage in Supplier Performance Management, including data maintenance, spend analysis, KPI setting, compliance monitoring, and performance assessment. Drive improved Total Cost of Ownership while tracking year-over-year savings and working capital targets. Implement process enhancements and resolve disputes with both suppliers and internal stakeholders. Build strong relationships with both internal and external partners. Conduct market intelligence and rate benchmark analysis on logistics subcategories against industry norms. Identify and mitigate supply risks associated with customs, tariffs, and critical services. Utilize analytics tools to monitor shipment performance, lead times, and cost trends. Assist the Freight Payables team in resolving invoice issues and facilitate system enhancements. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field, or 6+ years of relevant experience. A minimum of 3 years of logistics or supply chain experience. A minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement logistics. Expertise in international and domestic transportation modes, relevant cost structures, and basic contract terms. Proven skills in contract negotiation, business strategy, and financial comprehension. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Power BI. Core competencies for the role include collaboration, communication, and results-oriented execution. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multiple transportation modes. Prior experience in a chemical manufacturing setting. Knowledge of hazardous material transportation regulations. Familiarity with RFx and Contract Lifecycle Management software. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Pay Range: $81,715.00 - $127,680.00 Chemours Level: 24 Annual Bonus Target: 6% The pay range and incentives provided here are guidelines based solely on the primary job location and do not guarantee total compensation. Compensation offers take into account a variety of factors, including job responsibilities, experience, knowledge, and skills, along with internal equity and market considerations.
