QA Supervisor

Job DescriptionMANAGER NOTES QA Supervisor, Ross Plant- Selah, WASalary target$80,000-85,000Incentive 6% targetRelocation available Tier 1EXEMPT They prefer a science degree or comparable experience. Comfortable with providing their technical expertise. Experience in Food Manufacturing, would consider a lead or even Production Supervisor. They typically work an Monday-Friday 7-4 pm with an occasional need to work weekends, nights for audits or a rare PTO coverage. The role has 6 QA techs and a microbiologist reporting to them. Busy season is fall Sept-Nov. Hands on with the techs, need to be out on the floor, be proactive, make changes in process, and does the training for new technicians 40 % in lab 60 % in the office - reviewing data, trending reports, inventory management, equipment management, heavy document control and review, technical support for the plant - works often with Production Supervisors, Corporate Lab team, Marketing, Product Development, Sales, and Customers. They run the lab department. They take care of the schedule, maint. of equipment, order supplies through purchasing. Multitask, prioritize, access situation and determine how to proceed. That's It, Oatmeal pieces, Cereal powders, Trader Joes and Costco dried apples are some customers they work with. This facility does dried apples, dried pears, flakes, powders all ingredients.
