The electronic medical record system used is EPIC, with Phillips monitors for equipment. A charge nurse is present during the day shift to oversee operations and cover lunch breaks, but they do not take patients. Each shift will have one patient care technician. Shifts are typically nine hours long, four days per week. Weeknight and weekend call shifts are required, including holidays. The expected response time for call is 30 minutes.
