We are looking for an Application Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, problem-solving, and customer collaboration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work, technical problem solving, and supporting customers and sales teams with innovative motion control solutions. Position Summary The Application Engineer provides technical expertise and application support for Accu Tech USA's motion and automation product portfolio. This role works closely with customers, vendors, and internal sales teams to design solutions, size and specify components, troubleshoot technical issues, and support integration projects. You will apply your engineering knowledge to help customers select and implement the right technologies while also contributing to design, project execution, and technical sales support. Success in this role requires strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical Design Analyze application requirements and calculate loads and moments for proper product sizing Create parts and assemblies for integration projects using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools Develop drawings and prepare files for manufacturing vendors Coordinate with manufacturing vendors to resolve design and delivery issues Assemble and test mounting assemblies prior to shipment to customers Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or integration issues Prepare assembly drawings and documentation for customers Technical Support Provide technical assistance to customers and internal sales teams on applications and product selection Supply technical data required for quotations and proposals Test and validate machine applications and configurations Troubleshoot mechanical and motion-related issues Specify motors and drives to support motion systems Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical challenges Project Management Support the development of project proposals with the engineering and sales teams Assist with project implementation, including installation and commissioning as needed Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for custom projects Additional Responsibilities Prepare customer quotations when needed Support cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and vendor partners Travel occasionally to support customer projects or installations QualificationsEducation Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME preferred) or related 4-year engineering degree Equivalent experience with a relevant 2-year technical degree and industry experience may be considered Experience & Skills Experience with solid modeling (SolidWorks preferred) and drafting (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) Strong foundation in statics, mechanics, and mechanical design principles Knowledge of motion control systems including servo systems, PLCs, and HMIs is a plus Experience supporting engineering, technical, or customer-facing roles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Professional communication skills when interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams Physical Demands.
