Travel: Need to go to China for a 2-4 weeks training Job Title: Production Manager Company Overview We are a China-headquartered manufacturer of photovoltaic (PV) aluminum frames. In addition to our existing production base in Vietnam, we have established a subsidiary in Houston, Texas, and are planning to build a modern factory to serve the North American PV market. Position Summary We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, production floor activities, and workforce management. This role will be responsible for supervising front-line workers, ensuring compliance with company standards and U.S. safety regulations, and serving as a communication bridge between local employees and company management. Key Responsibilities Oversee warehouse and production operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards. Supervise and monitor workers' performance, manage shift scheduling, and ensure proper staffing. Provide timely feedback to management regarding workforce and production issues; coordinate cross-functional solutions. Enforce workplace safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Support implementation of production systems, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Act as a communication bridge between workers (English-speaking) and company management (Mandarin-speaking). Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment, preferably in metals, PV, or related industries. Proven leadership experience in supervising teams, scheduling, and production management. Strong knowledge of production systems and warehouse operations. Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred, with the ability to effectively communicate with both front-line workers and management. Strong problem-solving, coordination, and analytical skills. Knowledge of U.S. workplace safety standards (OSHA compliance experience preferred).
