REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager & Area Supervisor GRADE LEVEL: 4 JOB SUMMARY: The Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that the restaurant achieves its goals in both customer satisfaction and profitability. This position involves motivating fellow team members, maintaining high-quality food production, and meeting operational targets. PERFORMANCE RESULTS: Ensure that customers' orders are filled accurately and within designated service time, in line with Customer Service Standards. Guarantee that all food products served are consistent with the standards detailed in the Little Caesars Orientation and Training Handbook. Maintain professional conduct and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Keep work stations clean and organized to meet health and safety standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities and ensure safety and security protocols are followed. Provide guidance and constructive feedback to team members, facilitating coaching opportunities to ensure compliance with company standards. Oversee food, paper, labor, and utility cost controls while monitoring shift progress. Complete required paperwork accurately and on time as per the Operational Resource Guide (ORG). Effectively handle restaurant opening and closing procedures and address any unexpected challenges proactively. Assist the Restaurant Manager with various tasks including recruiting, training, marketing initiatives, and maintaining restaurant cleanliness and image. Nature & Scope The Shift Supervisor must comply with all relevant federal and state laws, including OSHA and EEOC requirements, while implementing company policies. Training will be provided through management, six-week modules, and other resources. The supervisor will lead their team, ensuring the restaurant is ready to meet customer demands and deliver satisfaction. This position requires a minimum commitment of 40 hours a week and involves hands-on management, requiring physical activity such as lifting and standing for extended periods. Task Analysis To fulfill the duties outlined in this description, the following tasks will be required: Ability to lift and move 55 pounds. Reach and move items from heights of 6 feet to ground level. Safely operate equipment including the sheeter machine, cash register, and kitchen tools. Promote company visibility by actively participating in marketing efforts such as sign holding. Effectively communicate with customers and team members. Follow directions and comprehend product standards. Process and execute customer orders efficiently. Utilize mathematical skills for sales and inventory management. Legally operate a vehicle as needed for tasks. Supervise and motivate a team to meet operational goals. Qualifications The Shift Supervisor must: Have prior experience in a customer-focused role, preferably in food service or retail. Be at least 18 years of age. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent with solid math skills. Possess a minimum of three months experience as a certified Assistant Manager or in a training capacity. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate reliability and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Be available for a flexible work schedule and perform all essential job functions. Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for necessary banking and delivery tasks. Meet company background verification standards. Provide proper documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States.
