Position Overview As an HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the work environment and culture at Sika. You will manage a diverse array of HR responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, training, HRIS systems, and compliance with safety standards. Additionally, you will oversee the administration of employee benefits and support various accounting duties, including payroll processing and general ledger analysis. Administer and interpret HR policies and programs; ensure employees are well-informed and provide guidance on HR-related matters such as performance and employee complaints. Oversee effective recruitment and selection processes to build a pool of qualified candidates for open positions. Manage salary administration, including merit increases, promotions, and performance appraisals, while maintaining accurate records. Coordinate separations from employment and conduct thorough exit interviews. Ensure compliance in maintaining employee records and files in accordance with legal and internal requirements. Collaborate with management on employee corrective actions, documentation, and terminations. Partner with the benefits team on FMLA and other leaves of absence, tracking employee returns. Manage Workers' Compensation claims and ensure effective communication with the carriers. Record vacations and other time off related to established policies. Oversee Time and Attendance data submission to Corporate payroll. Develop and implement innovative HR strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Engage with departments on culture initiatives, internal communications, recognition programs, and succession planning. Stay updated on state, federal, and local employment regulations and HR industry trends. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this role ranges from $105,000 to $120,000, alongside potential bonuses and profit sharing based on experience and education. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field. Over 5 years of experience in Human Resource Management. Strong knowledge of labor laws, wage guidelines, and regulations, including COBRA, ADA, and FMLA. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, multitasking, and planning skills. Able to operate independently and proactively towards achieving business goals. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS systems is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
