The Senior Manager of Business Analysis will play a crucial role in steering the business by analyzing advanced quantitative and qualitative data. This position supports the product marketing team leaders in making vital strategic and operational decisions. In this role, you'll develop customer-focused solutions through data science, data mining methodologies, thorough data analysis, and effective communication. You'll lead the design and development of reporting structures, presenting advanced business insights creatively through data visualizations to a diverse audience, including all levels of leadership. Additionally, you'll manage standardized reports to be used across various teams. You will be an internal data subject matter expert (SME), adept at locating datasets to answer key business questions. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, strategy, and channel teams. Key Responsibilities: Support the analytic needs of the business, utilizing data from multiple sources (e.g., dashboards, call centers, SAP, & Business Objects). Serve as a primary point of contact for data and reporting solutions aimed at driving business results. Create comprehensive dashboards from diverse data sources for presentations to senior management. Drive core insights from available data, providing valuable analysis and recommendations to the team and business stakeholders. Effectively present analysis and strategies to senior management in both verbal and written forms, summarizing complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and impactful manner. Influence leadership through data-driven insights. Conduct competitive analysis to inform offers and operational processes. Engage early in enterprise projects to define reporting needs and integrate those into system designs. Respond to additional ad hoc reporting requests and assignments as necessary. Handle other duties and projects as assigned by business management. Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analysis, Data Science, Decision Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (Required). Master’s/Advanced Degree (Preferred). 7-10 years of experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion) (Required). 7-10 years of experience in performance reporting and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) (Required). 7-10 years of experience with advanced analytics, including SQL/ETL, complex dataset analysis, competitive analysis, quantitative research (Required). 7-10 years of experience using Python, R, Go, or similar data science languages (Required). Telecommunications experience (Preferred). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Data Analysis: Exceptional at leveraging diverse datasets to deliver broad analysis and insights that maximize value creation and return on investment (Required). Proficiency in technical tools (SQL, automation, reporting/metric) (Required). Financial Modeling: Experience with financial modeling, including forecasting, revenue analysis, and cost-benefit assessments to support business decisions (Required). Communication: Ability to manage relationships, influence others, and communicate complex analyses and solutions clearly and concisely, delivering decision support and recommendations that facilitate effective execution of initiatives (Required). Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to dissect complex business challenges and devise data-driven solutions (Required). At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Travel: No travel required. DOT Regulated: This is not a DOT regulated position. Base Pay Range: $96,700 - $174,400 Corporate Bonus Target: 20% This pay range is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. Actual pay will be determined based on several factors including work location, qualifications, and experience. Therefore, starting pay may vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentives based on performance. Most corporate employees can expect a year-end bonus based on their individual and company performance set at a percentage of their eligible earnings from the prior year.
