Join Dentons US LLP as an experienced Enterprise Applications Automation Specialist within our IT Operations team, where you'll have the opportunity to drive operational efficiency through innovative automation solutions across a diverse set of enterprise applications. Workspace locations include Chicago, IL, Kansas City, MO, Washington DC, Houston, TX, St. Louis, MO, Phoenix, AZ, Atlanta, GA, Miami, FL, and Dallas, TX. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain automation solutions and workflows across applications such as Exchange, Intune, Mimecast, Active Directory (AD), EntraID, Freshworks, and other third-party applications. Utilize automation techniques to enhance application quality assurance and post-patch testing for improved system validation. Leverage tools like PowerShell, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph to automate various administrative tasks, data integrations, and reporting. Support distributed microservices and cloud-hosted solutions, utilizing APIs and modern authentication protocols like OAuth2 and SAML for seamless integrations. System Administration & Support Troubleshoot and provide advanced support for automated workflows, collaborating closely with IT Operations and service desk teams. Monitor automation performance to identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations ensuring smooth operations. Conduct audits, security reviews, and data integrity checks on automated processes regularly. Collaboration & Project Delivery Collaborate with the End User Compute, Enterprise Applications, and Applications Support teams to design scalable automation solutions. Contribute to the firm's technology roadmap focusing on automation and operational excellence. Lead or participate in automation-related projects, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives. Prepare handoff documentation for service teams and provide Level 3 support for automation issues. Quality Assurance & Testing Develop automated QA scripts and workflows for various application testing phases, including regression validations and post-patch verification. Implement systematic software testing approaches and explore opportunities to enhance testing through automation. Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement Participate in RFP/RFI processes for automation tools, contributing to vendor selection and analysis. Manage key vendor relationships focused on automation and integration technologies. Continuous Improvement Stay updated with the latest in automation, RPA, and AI technologies, advocating for system enhancements. Document automation configurations and processes for reference and training purposes. Other Duties Identify and communicate automation-related risks to IT leadership. Participate in outage calls and incident response as necessary. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to fulfill the role effectively. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related experience. 5+ years of experience in developing and managing automations for enterprise applications, ideally within legal or professional services. Proficient in PowerShell, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph. Experience with the deployment and administration of Microsoft operating systems and applications. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and independently deliver automation solutions. Familiar with software testing methodologies and QA automation. Azure Fundamentals Training or Certification is a plus. Understanding modern authentication protocols, cloud integrations, and RPA is advantageous. Demonstrable ability to work independently and deliver substantial contributions. Experience with AI-driven automation platforms and familiarity with machine learning concepts for process optimization is preferred. Ability to leverage AI for analytics, automated QA, and intelligent workflow orchestration. Salary Competitive salaries ranging from $98,000 to $125,000 depending on experience for Chicago and from $102,000 to $130,000 for Washington DC.
