Industry Computer Software Type Privately Held Employees 1001-5000 About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Director to spearhead our Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) initiative. In this key position, you will establish and grow a commercial platform that leverages purchasing power across a wide array of practices in the dental, medical, and veterinary sectors. You will play a vital role in shaping the strategy and operational model of our GPO, working closely with company leadership on essential decisions related to building and acquiring new ventures. Your responsibilities will include forging strong vendor and strategic partnerships, leveraging existing industry relationships to foster a robust vendor ecosystem, and negotiating advantageous commercial terms. You will also refine our commercial model to deliver tangible value to our customers while closely monitoring adoption and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in sales, strategic sourcing, partnerships, or related fields, with a strong preference for those who have direct experience in the dental, medical, healthcare services, or veterinary sectors. Key attributes for success include exceptional commercial judgment, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to compellingly communicate value. We are looking for a candidate with a builder's mindset, who thrives in decentralized environments and is results-oriented. In this role, you will aim to successfully launch an operational GPO within a core vertical, secure essential vendor agreements, and develop a replicable commercial and operational model. Your success will be measured by your ability to aggregate customer spending, demonstrate economic value, and create a strategic plan for scaling the GPO into new verticals.
