Job Description Job Description Accounting Clerk (Temp)Location:Petaluma, CACompensation:$24-$27 per hourWork Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to support the Accounting and Finance departments for our client in Petaluma. As an Accounting Clerk, you will assist with general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable support, and monthly close activities while helping maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment What will you do: Do you enjoy working with numbers, staying organized, and supporting accounting operations? As an Accounting Clerk, you'll have the opportunity to be hands-on with financial data, support month-end close activities, and work closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities: Reconcile and balance General Ledger accounts Assist Accounts Payable with invoice processing, filing, and check runs Support monthly closing activities and perform other accounting-related duties as assigned Skills and Requirements: 3+ years of related accounting or clerical experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access (including databases and queries) Strong math skills with the ability to calculate proportions and percentages Company Description Star Staffing is a woman-owned staffing agency proudly serving Northern California for over 25 years.
