We currently have two openings:Construction Manager – Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP)Construction Manager – Lift Stations / Pump StationsThese roles serve as key operational leaders and may act on behalf of the VP of Operations when needed to maintain continuity across projects and teams.Note: These positions require regular travel to project sites and candidates must be comfortable being on-site for extended durations. Relocation may be required to be within a commutable distance of our New Port Richey headquarters. A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record are required.Key Responsibilities:Construction & Project ManagementManage all phases of wastewater and/or lift station construction projects from planning through closeout.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, engineers, and internal teams.Monitor schedules, budgets, procurement, and project performance.Review plans, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and constructability.Lead project meetings and provide status reporting to leadership.Identify risks and resolve field challenges proactively.Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Maintain documentation including RFIs, change orders, daily reports, and closeout packages.Operations & Field LeadershipLead Superintendents, Foremen, field crews, and fabrication teams; set expectations and verify results.Collaborate daily with Project Managers and Project Administrators on schedules, permits, inspections, procurement, and logistics.Prepare weekly crew schedules, daily line-ups, and monthly look-ahead plans.Plan and control labor utilization, productivity, and project costs.Review and approve timecards and production reporting.Coordinate equipment, cranes, site access, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.Ensure timely material takeoffs, purchasing, and delivery sequencing.Develop recovery plans for schedule delays or resource shortages.Leadership & Organizational ImpactServe as escalation point for clients, vendors, and field teams.Support estimating and preconstruction planning for new projects.Contribute to operational strategy, process improvement, and efficiency initiatives.Maintain strong client relationships and uphold company reputation.Step into VP-level leadership responsibilities when required.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred (experience may substitute).5+ years of construction management experience in wastewater, utilities, lift stations, or heavy civil infrastructure.3+ years of leadership experience managing field operations and crews.Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.Experience with wastewater treatment plants or lift stations strongly preferred.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Valid driver’s license.Willingness and ability to travel regularly to project sites.Working Conditions:Full-time, onsite in New Port Richey, FL with regular field visits to project sites.Combination of office and outdoor construction environments.Ability to work safely while adhering to OSHA and regulatory requirements.Why Join Marolf Environmental?At Marolf Environmental, you’ll join a company committed to building strong teams, delivering high-quality infrastructure, and creating lasting positive impact in our communities.
