The Food & Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for leading all food and beverage operations at Hilton Garden Inn Allen, with a strong focus on guest experience, financial performance, and team development. This role requires a hands-on hospitality leader with prior Executive Chef or Sous Chef experience who understands both culinary execution and full F&B operational management. This leader will oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, banquet and catering execution, menu development, labor and cost controls, and service standards-while remaining visible, engaged, and present with both guests and team members. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all F&B operations including restaurant, bar, banquets, catering, and in-room dining (as applicable) Actively manage the guest experience by being present on the floor during peak service times Leverage Executive Chef or Sous Chef background to ensure food quality, consistency, and culinary standards Develop, execute, and refresh menus in alignment with brand standards and guest preferences Manage labor scheduling, productivity, and payroll to meet budgeted targets Maintain food, beverage, and supply cost controls while maximizing profitability Oversee banquet and catering operations, including menu creation, execution, and BEO alignment Recruit, train, coach, and develop F&B team members; build a culture of accountability and service excellence Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, health department regulations, food safety, and alcohol service laws Partner with the General Manager and Sales team to drive revenue growth and operational improvements Analyze financial reports (P&L, forecasts, labor, food cost) and take corrective action as needed Required Qualifications Previous Executive Chef or Sous Chef experience required 3+ years of food & beverage leadership experience in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume hospitality environment Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, menu development, and culinary execution Proven experience managing labor, food cost, and operating budgets Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of guest experience and service standards Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays TABC and ServSafe certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire) Preferred Qualifications Previous hotel food & beverage leadership experience (Hilton brand experience a plus) Banquet and catering experience Experience working with BEOs, forecasting, and group events Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs What You'll Love About Working Here We believe great work deserves great rewards.
