Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Employee Relations Specialist. This role requires hands-on involvement in managing cases, preparing detailed summaries, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies, including EEOC regulations. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $50 to $60 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues in a timely and objective manner. Conduct comprehensive investigations into employee complaints, allegations of misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and other sensitive matters. Prepare detailed investigation summaries and reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and resolutions. Provide expert guidance on EEOC regulations and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws. Utilize case management to document and track employee relations cases. Collaborate with HR leadership, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures. Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred. 5+ years of experience in employee relations, with a strong focus on high-volume case management. Extensive experience conducting investigations and preparing detailed case summaries. In-depth knowledge of EEOC regulations and employment law compliance. Experience working with employee relations case management systems (NAVEX, EthicsPoint), or similar. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
