Opportunity to work on a variety of units (PCU, Med Surg and ED Holds) Excellent opportunities for educational and career growth including advancement opportunities in leadership Here's What You Need: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency BCLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly ACLS - within 90 days of hire required CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - within 90 days of hire NIHSS - required for ICU/PCU Neighborhood 6 Months Req 1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required Float Pool experience strongly preferred Intermediate Care experience or strong telemetry background preferred What You Will Do:Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process assesses the patient plans the care of the patient intervenes as appropriate evaluates the effectiveness of intervention Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
