About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Leadership Team. The CFO will be a key partner in advancing the organization's strategic direction, with a focus on expanding global impact, strengthening resilience, and deepening commitment to human rights. This role requires a dynamic and ethical leader with a deep commitment to humanitarian values, capable of stewarding resources responsibly and ensuring long-term financial sustainability. The CFO will oversee all financial strategy and operations, budgeting, financial reporting, and will be responsible for the organization's technology and facilities functions. They must be adept at financial planning, and analysis, and have a proven track record in developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and controls. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree and CPA or CMA certification. A minimum of 10 years' financial management experience, including 5 years of team management, is required. Experience in the nonprofit or NGO sector, particularly in complex, mission-driven environments, is highly valued. The CFO will be expected to be a visionary leader, capable of guiding the organization through growth and transformation, and must have a strong background in compliance, risk management, and technology oversight. The role demands a leader with strong analytical skills, the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and a commitment to the values of the organization, including hope, human dignity, integrity, equity, and collaboration.
