Accepts 1st-time travelers. Minimum 2 years’ experience in the cath lab (IR-only not accepted). Pending license accepted. No RTO restrictions; keep close to 1 week. No local hires within 75 miles. Orientation in EPIC; scrubs provided. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Skills & Procedures: Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Left/Right Heart Cath, PCI, Pacemaker/Defibrillator procedures, IABP & Impella placement/removal Diagnostic catheterizations, angioplasty, central venous access (PICC, ports), dialysis graft interventions IR procedures: liver biopsy, lung biopsy, paracentesis, gastrostomy tube placement, embolizations, nephrostomy, stent placements Endovascular interventions, SVC/IVC venography, upper/lower extremity angiography Medication administration: antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency meds, procedural sedation Patient monitoring: 12-lead EKG, dysrhythmia management, infection control, isolation precautions Circulate procedures, patient education, IV infusion pump management Patient Population: CL patients needing diagnostic or interventional cardiac cath; IR patients requiring drains, tubes, kyphoplasty, biopsies, and other interventions.
