Assistant Restaurant Manager

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing all operations of the drive-in restaurant. Your role will involve training and mentoring team members to maintain our commitment to quality food service in a safe and efficient setting. Key responsibilities include: Managing, training, coaching, and monitoring Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops. Directing restaurant employees to meet operational standards effectively. Ensuring compliance with employee handbook, policies, and procedures. Performing restaurant opening and closing tasks. Adjusting staffing and inventory levels as necessary, while controlling food costs. Completing weekly inventory checks when needed. Assisting with administrative duties, including maintaining files and documentation. Promoting a customer-focused service mentality among all employees. Responding promptly to guest requests and complaints, assisting in resolution as needed. Requirements include: Availability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. General knowledge of the restaurant or retail industry. A minimum of six months of management experience in a Quick Service Restaurant or one year of entry-level retail management experience. Effective communication skills, alongside basic math, reading, and computer capabilities. Ability to work independently following directions and solve problems effectively.
