In your role as a Lead Cloud Security Network Engineer, you will: Design and implement advanced network infrastructure tailored for Cloud Networking and Network Security services. Provide insightful Level II and Level III technical support, and mentor the operational team. Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging network and communication technologies. Act as a trusted advisor to our global leadership and business units. Offer technical leadership as a Subject Matter Expert for Enterprise IT communications. Collaborate with Security and Cloud Infrastructure groups to enhance communication systems. Qualifications: We are seeking candidates with the following background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience in a relevant IT area. Possession of advanced industry certifications in Cloud and Security services is required; Palo Alto Certification (PCNSE) is mandatory, with Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) preferred and CCNP required. Ten or more years in an Architect or Engineering role focused on Cloud Security and network infrastructure services. Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting large, distributed networks involving both cloud and local infrastructure services. Proficiency in designing and managing firewall and network security services. Extensive knowledge of network protocols including VLANs, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF. Expertise in security technologies as they relate to network communications. Experience with zScaler Security, remote access, and segmentation solutions, with ZDXA certification preferred. Capabilities in hardware, firmware, and software evaluation and testing. Track record of identifying training needs and development of materials for personnel training. Ability to analyze root causes of issues and document solutions thoroughly. Preferred Skills: Experience in program management. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Advanced English proficiency in verbal, reading, writing, and comprehension. Experience with Microsoft 365 products, including Visio and Project. Background working in a global matrix environment. In-depth knowledge of planning, designing, and troubleshooting network systems. Advanced understanding of Cloud networking and security, particularly within Azure and AWS. Proficient in process discipline and documentation techniques. Familiarity with ITIL 3/4 framework. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and products. Exceptional understanding of the OSI model and its application in networking. Highly developed complex network troubleshooting skills. Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Experience functioning within an Enterprise setting with strict change controls.
