Job Details Location: Bismarck, North Dakota (58501) - North Dakota CT technologist jobs / Bismarck healthcare Setting: Hospital - Level II Trauma Center & Stroke Center Assignment Type: Travel (CT travel assignment) Start Date: March 30, 2026 End Date: June 29, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary: $2540 - $2730 per week Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights); 3 weekend shifts per week; includes call and weekend/holiday coverage (schedule discussed during interview) Orientation: 2-week comprehensive orientation process Note: Position is not open to local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles of Bismarck Job Requirements Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program (Radiologic Technologist) ARRT Board Certified in CT (Computed Tomography) - ARRT-CT required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Licensed in the State of North Dakota by the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board Strong knowledge of CT scanners, cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, and 3D post-processing for orthopedic, vascular, cardiac, and neuro imaging Experience with Toshiba Aquilion One, Siemens Definition Edge, Vital Fx Workstation, Tera Recon, and SyngoVia preferred Familiarity with EPIC/Radiant EMR and McKesson PACS is a plus At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist is required Responsibilities Perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans and produce high-quality images according to established hospital protocols Utilize professional judgment while delivering exceptional patient care and initiating life support measures as necessary Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain CT equipment to ensure accurate and timely imaging Perform 3D post-processing and apply post-processing techniques for orthopedic, vascular, cardiac, and neuro cases Document imaging procedures in the electronic medical record (EPIC/Radiant) and manage studies in PACS (McKesson) Interact effectively with patients, physicians, family members, and multidisciplinary healthcare staff Participate in on-call rotation, weekend, and holiday coverage as assigned Adhere to hospital policies including badging in/out and wearing gray scrubs Complete a 2-week orientation and engage in ongoing training as needed Why Bismarck: Enjoy a friendly community, scenic riverfront, and a balance of urban amenities with outdoor recreation while advancing your career in CT imaging.
